    Welcome to our recent GUESTS!  Dan Bliss passed his audition, and Wayne Steele will be auditioning soon (former barbershopper from Wilkes-Barre!) 

    Reminder to Ensemble singers - Meet weekly at 10pm (after Chapter Meeting) with Rusty if you're interested in trying out for some small group singing for the show! 

    I trust that you all have been thoroughly enjoying listing to the great LEARNING TRACKs for Join the Circus. Last week we began this song, and will continue this evening, of course. This will be a highlight of our song roster in the show. Please be prepared tonight. Matt will have copies for anyone who was not able to print off the chart. 

    Also, TRACK creation is now in progress for our final brand-new song, Mary's Boy Child, and will be made available upon receipt. We'll likely look at the tag this evening! 

    Remember that the Marine Corp Ball is coming up in Nov (check your attendance availability, please).  Tonight we'll start reviewing the transition from Anchors Aweigh to Marine's Hymn.  That is, starting from a Bb chord: 
    The baris  move from F to G to Ab, while the Basses  UP from Bb to F on the baris' second move;
    Leads/Tenor no note change).

    Other Christmas songs for review tonight include:
    1. Make 'Em Laugh - OFF-PAPER tonight (10/17) beginning at Chorus 2. 
    2. Ringmaster's Lament - Ensure that the 2nd verse and TAG are good. This is OFF-PAPER.
    3. Light One Candle - Should be Off Paper. Rusty will reiterate the final roadmap. 
    4. Join the Circus - Ensemble review of the entire song tonight. Off-Paper 11/7. 
    5. White Christmas - Off paper now. The chorus WILL sing the optional Key Change. As you know, our new LEARNING tracks include the Key Change.
    6. 3 Carol Medley - Introduced 9/19, OFF-PAPER TONIGHT 10/17.
    7. It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas - Read thru.  Off-paper in 3 weeks 11/7.
