    Duration: 2 1/2 hours
Venue: Flemington United Methodist Church (entrance on Maple)
    Description: HHs -

We're doing really well getting "Hippopotamus" ready for the Craft Fair - Great job on your learning!  It is now OFF-Paper.  Please continue to study the tag until it's perfect.  Also OFF-paper now is "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".  This means that you are note and word "perfect" as self-evaluated by YOU.  As Rusty described a few weeks back, how well do you know each song on a scale of 1 to 10.  If you cannot perform it at at least a "7", then I invite you to sing that particular song from beside the risers.

Next up (OFF-Paper) THIS coming Tues is "Ringmaster's Lament".

This past week, we held Sectionals on "Make 'Em Laugh" for Chorus 2 thru the Tag.  Pls note Steve Sawin's memo that the learning tracks have been updated on our site, and now fully match the charts handed out last Tues.
Please continue your learnin for this one!

This week, I would like to begin "White Christmas".  The intro will be a quartet; the HHs will begin at the 1st chorus.

This week, we will continue to study new material that will be used in our Holiday Show, "Santa Saves the Circus".
    1. Make 'Em LaughUpdated LEARNING TRACKS are now on our website. Take a few listens prior to our next rehearsal.  (No need to focus on the Intro or first chorus).
    2.  Ringmaster's Lament - Please have this one OFF-PAPER on 8/29 (This coming week).
    3.  Hippopotamus - This song is now OFF-PAPER (as of Tues 8/15); we will debut this at our Sept Craft Fair shows to help promote our Dec show.
    4. We Wish You - This song is now OFF-PAPER (as of 8/22).

For THIS WEEK, we'll also focus on some of our repertoire that will be part of the Craft Fair shows on Sep 16-17th, such as:
    1. Railroad
    2. Daydream
    3. Armed Forces Medley
    4. When I Lift Up My Head

    Remember to be a SINGER-BRINGER!!

    Don

PS - Plan to attend our (always FUN) HH picnic, this year scheduled for Sunday, Aug 27th from 2pm until 10pm at the home of Don and Cathi Reckenbeil (408 W. County Drive, Branchburg). Feel free to bring friends who like to sing and may be thinking about visiting us!  Rusty will be doing the SHOPPING, and needs his final count by Friday (8/25).  Sign up on for the EVENT on our website.
