    Description: Dear HHs,

    Hoping to see everybody tonight as we finish preparations for our next singout - the Somerset Patriots on Sun afternoon, 8/6.  I understand that a superhero will be on hand at the Ballpartk on Sunday, so of course the HHs will want to be prepared with a ditty to help welcome him as he interacts with the kids, and maybe gain a little exposure for us as well!  For a hint, you can listen to the following on Youtube:

    We'll also continue to review some of our newer Christmas music 2017  tonight as well.

    Expecting our Harmony University students back tonight to report on the latest from Nashville! Reminder that anyone of us has the opportunity to attend one of the Society's schools.  We have Harmony College East (HCE) each June in Maryland, and then the national Harmony U. each July  All schools are very worthwhile, affordable, and tons of fun. Why not put it on your calendar for next year!

    For the Patriots baseball game, we'll choose from among the following songs (maybe all):
    1).  Star-Spangled Banner (of course!)
    2). God Bless America (drum intro)
    3). Top of the World
    4). Country Roads
    5). Daydream
    6). Coney Island Baby
    7). Superhero bit

    Tonight we will also take a third look at our brand-new "Hippopotamus" song, which will feature a dancing Hippo. in our Holiday Show. You all have been doing great on this one - Mostly it's the TAG that needs work, and of course the memorization. I was also pleased last week with your recollection of "Light One Candle" and "We Wishhhhh You..."  We'll also take another gander at a few passages within the new, Ringmaster's Lament.  Please bring the music charts you received the past week or two. 

    Remember to be a SINGER-BRINGER for the remainder of the summer!!!

    PS - Plan to attend our (always FUN) HH picnic, this year scheduled for Sunday, Aug 27th from 2pm until 10pm at the home of Don and Cathi Reckenbeil (408 W. County Drive, Branchburg). Feel free to bring friends who like to sing and may be thinking about visiting us!  Sign up on for the EVENT on our website. Chapter provides burgers, dogs, punch and sodas; you can bring something to share with all (salad, side, dessert, beer, etc.)
